Wow, it looks like One Buck Wiki has been coming alive in the last couple days after the price drop to one dollar. We’ve hit our climax of 27 pages, which is the best we’ve done in a day for this month. Let’s hope pages start selling like crazy like when we first started out when an average of over 300 pages were sold per day.
On the side note, we’ve probably experience the sales boost from our latest John Chow review for the Quarter Wiki.
If you haven’t, you might want to head over to our little brother, QuarterWiki, and put all those quarters you have in your piggy bank to a potential money multiplier. (Yes, take those coins to QuarterWiki and invest in pages instead of heading to your CoinStart machine.)

New Feature - OneBuckWiki is on a new server!
0 Comments Published November 2nd, 2007 in New Features, OBW News.Just in case you were confused about OneBuckWiki being MaKePoNo in the last 12 hours or so…we have been working around the clock to move the site to a new server so it can support much large traffic. Due to heavy traffic volumes, OneBuckWiki went through some down times in the last couple days but with the new server in place, we should be able to handle 100 times more traffic. We apologize if this has confused any of our page-owners and will not happen again for awhile. (until we get a lot of traffic again…)
If you have been seeing MaKePoNo, our shopping social network site, that’s due to DNS changes that haven’t gotten through to all the DNS servers in the world. Please be patient as you might still see MaKePoNo intermittently while our DNS changes are being propagated through the internet.
P.S. MaKePoNo is an experimental shopping social networking site that we are “experimenting” with. Please feel free to browse or use it for your liking. Yes, please do not confuse the site with a porno site…

This is the advertising category that the page-owners of OneBuckWiki have been editing for last couple days. The activity on the OneBuckWiki is enormous and we are trying our best to keep up with our page-owners.
Thank you everyone for putting some great content and if you haven’t added your page to the categories, you can do so by reading the category section in our QuickStartGuide.
It is amazing how quickly we are building content on the OneBuckWiki. We have almost several hundred pages of content within 2 weeks! That’s almost as good as an active blog. We think when we have sold about 2000 pages, this activity will exponentially grow… we are crossing our fingers.

Although our initial OBW buzz have died down, traffic has been pretty good. We have averaged about 1000 unique visitors per day and page(s) are being bought everyday regardless of how many pages. We think we will experience another jump in traffic over the next couple days due to the fact we should be selling all 1000 pages very soon.
Although we were going to stop page orders after 1000 pages, we changed our mind and we will just keep selling pages. (but for $10 after 1000 pages!)
Once we hit about 3000 unique visitor average, we expect the traffic to virally take off exponentially through buzz marketing and pyro-marketing.
What can you do as a page owner to help us? Tell your best friends about it and put our cool buttons on your site!

We are expecting to sell out 1000 pages by end of this week but it could be tonight or tomorrow.
Once 1000 pages are sold, we will be closing off sales of pages for a couple days. We will launch another big campaign and get us going for another 1000 pages, but at 10 dollars.
If you buy a page before we close and over 1000 pages are sold, we will still sell your pages for one dollar. We are expecting a lot of last minute purchases so…watch out!
We do expect the next 1000 pages to be sold even faster than the first 1000 pages at this time due to the OBW BUZZ.
