Here’s a sum of marketing/advertising campaigns we have been running lately on the One Buck Wiki:

1. 1 Month Ad on JohnChow.com - Highly effective, we’ve almost made our money back for the $600 investment.

2. Ad trade with JakelDaily.com with our Zedomax.com site. - Yey, we got a free ad!

3. BidVertiser Ads (Test phase) - We can’t tell for sure if BidVertiser is working yet…further testing needed.

4. Google AdWords Ads. (Since Google pays credits us for any transactions for pages bought using Google Ads)

5. Facebook Ads (Facebook Ads just launched so we are testing this market) - We are thinking of making a Facebook App. Do you have some programming skills? Make a Facebook App for us and share 50/50 revenue for the app.

As we continually re-invest all the money we make, we should start seeing a jump in traffic gradually.

Do you have a site that can benefit from free advertising?

Do you have a site that brings at least 500 unique visitors per day?

Zedomax.com - Tech blog with about 3,500 unique visitors per day.

Bedzine.com - Bed blog that covers everything from beds to home accesories with 1,500 unique visitors per day.

Sleepzine.com - Sleep blog about sleep and health with 800 unique visitors per day.

Mattresszine.com - Mattress blog about Mattresses and any Mattress related products with 500 unique visitors per day.

If you have a site that brings at least 500 unique visitors per day, we might want to trade ads with you and share traffic.

Your ad would be placed on one of our blogs mentioned above and you’d put our OneBuckWiki ad on your site in return.

Yey! We made about $600 from page sales on our $400 investment on JohnChow.com on Monday. That’s a nice 50% profit.

We just re-invested $600 for an Ad spot that came up on JohnChow.com. If we can sell enough pages to make $900, that’d be our safe target. If we sell more, that’s awesome!

We have been testing some ads with BidVertiser but cannot say for sure if we should invest more money there yet. We are also working on to integrate Google Checkout so we can use Google AdSense to drive more traffic to the site. (Google Checkout gives you free transactions upto 10 times amount of money spent on Google Adsense)

Once our page sales picks up a little bit more, we should be going very viral indeed…
