Sexy Internet Marketing
Published October 24th, 2007 in OBW News.I just read this post about sexy internet marketing. It seems that words such as “sex” and “porn” can be sold for millions of dollars. I’ve just noticed that sex page was already sold but “porn” is still available… hint hint?!?
This porn page could go for lots of money in the future when OneBuckWiki grow up.
We all agree that sex sells: TV, radio, billboards, movies, songs, celebrities, etc. Why else Paris Hilton be so famous?
The most expensive Domain name to date is, Sex.com. Sold for $14 million dollars. At second, is Porn.com. Sold for $9 million.
Business.com, lies only at third place. Sold for $7.5 million. What! That’s a shocking $6.5 million dollars below the first place.
What does that tell us? Sex Sells! Duh, we know!

The Concept is great. As number of pages gets sold, so as the traffic.. People who wait will pay premium. Great incentive for who start early.
