Thanks to advances in solid state technology, on board computers are now more than fast enough to ensure that the switching between full and partial cylinder use is a seamless experience for the driver.
E85 compliance is now optional on many GMC trucks. When ethanol use becomes more widespread, this technology will most certainly play its part in reducing North America's dependance on oil.
