Ah yes - the current holy grail of online money-making... using your blog to generate income. And make no mistake about it - this works... and works well. It is a whole lot better than tossing your money into some pyramid scheme that only makes money for the 3 people at the top.

It had some very good information in it about setting up your blog in the right way to get the right results. One thing I disagree about though is he recommends aweber for your autoresponder needs. They have a great service and are considered to be at the top of the game. But they charge $20 for something I can get elsewhere for under $12. The reason for the big price difference has to do with commissions. aweber pays out more in commissions than FreeRotator. But if you're on a budget and probably not going to refer a ton of people - go with the lower cost. Put that extra $8 in your pocket every month!
The next ebook - I'm not sure how to describe it. It totally changed my way of thinking about making money online and I've completely shifted my focus. I don't know if it would have that effect on anyone else but for me everything just all of a sudden started making sense and I knew what I needed to do. It wasn't that the ebook told me what to do either. That is why I'm not sure how to describe it. I don't want to say here it is - follow it - get rich! Because it isn't like that. You know how sometimes you can have the same thing explained to you by three different people and one of the three will "click in" with you more than the other two? As for actually bringing in the money with your blog - everyone immediately loads up their blog with tons of adsense ads... as far as I can tell - adsense really only brings in good money if you have a lot of traffic. In the first month my blog made $1.27 with adsense. Hmmm - not a good use of space in the early days of a blog. I also tried widget bucks - very cool ads but a little slow. After two months - still no income from them. So now I am trying some of the coolest ads I've ever seen. Take a look on my blog at MyFreeMoneyBlog.com and you'll see what I mean. The scrolling ads and the slideshow ads are both from CBproAds which is an ad generator and storefront for clickbank products. And since most clickbank products have a 50% or higher commission - I'm thinking I have a much better shot at making a decent amount of money with them.
